Magdalene "Pat" Spoelhof's Obituary
Mrs. Magdalene “Pat” Spoelhof, age 77, died Thursday evening, March 15, 2007. She was born March 17, 1929 in Muskegon Heights to Anthony and Kathryn (Homa) Bar and had been a life resident of the area. Mrs. Spoelhof was a member of Westwood Reformed Church. On January 13, 1951 she married Jerry Spoelhof in South Bend, Indiana and he survives her along with 4 children, Dr. G. David (Melissa) Spoelhof of Duluth, MN, Deborah (James) Therrian of Holton, Denise (Dr. Al) Winebarger of Fruitport, Don (Karen) Spoelhof of Valparaiso, IN; 7 grandchildren, Heidi, Amy, Greg, and Kristin Spoelhof, Frank and Katie Therrian, Adam Winebarger; 3 sisters, Mary Spetoskey, Rose Byrnes, Bernice (Ted) Kling; 3 sisters-in-law, Grace Barr, Angie Schuitema, Gert (Ray) Roelofs; and many nieces and nephews. Her family was most important to her and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was preceded in death by her son, David G. Spoelhof; 3 sisters, Sophia Buck, Anne Bar, Victoria Langlois; 3 brothers, Andrew, Thaddeus, and Martin Bar; and a brother-in-law, John Spoelhof. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Monday at Westwood Reformed Church with Rev. David Willerup officiating. Burial will be in Norton Cemetery. VISITATION with the family will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday at
