Mr. Majed G. Saqqa's Obituary
Majed G. Saqqa, age 33, passed away May 11, 2015. He was born on September 1, 1986 to George and Samira Saqqa in Kuwait City, Kuwait. Majed is preceded in death by his father, George M. Saqqa, his grandparents, Michael & Helena Saqqa and Ibrahim & Nour Hamati. He is survived by his mother, Samira Hamati Saqqa, his sister, Ellen (Andrew) Ponton, his brothers, Mike Saqqa and Samer Saqqa, nephew David Ponton. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Majed was a kind soul and will be greatly missed. We love you Majed. A VISITATION for Majed will be held at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231-798-1100) from 6 – 8:00 PM with a rosary service at 7:30 PM. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held at St. Patrick St. Anthony Catholic Church, 920 Fulton St., at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place in Spring Lake Cemetery. For a more lasting memory the family would like you to think of St. Patrick’s Catholic church for a donation in Majed’s memory.
