Malcolm McKee's Obituary
Mr. Malcolm B. McKee, age 81, died Tuesday, February 1, 2005 in Muskegon. He was born January 7, 1924 in Mt. Clemens, MI to Mark & Angeline (Fink) McKee and has resided in the Muskegon area since 1953. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII having served in France. Prior to retiring in 2001, Malcolm had been employed at Sand Products Corporation for 50 years. He was a member of McGraft Memorial Congregational Church. On January 26, 1946 he married the former Loretta Meyers and she survives him along with 5 children, Malcolm P. McKee, Roger M. (Mari-Lee) McKee and Tanya G. (Matt) Beute all of Muskegon, Lucinda L. (Wayne) Lederer of Corvallis, OR and Shawn P. (Janice) McKee of Ann Arbor; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 5 brothers, Miles, Mark, Muir, Julian and Terry McKee and by 2 sisters, Rosemary Hathaway & Maurita McKee. Malcolm was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother, Hugh; and 4 sisters, Meredith Abbuthnot, Jane Leonard, Joann Guislain, and Cynthia Schuknecht. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 1 PM Friday, February 4, 2005, at McGraft Memorial Congregational Church, 1617 Palmer Blvd. Please join the Family for Dinner and Reflections at a WAKE celebrating the life of “Pete” McKee at Hagars Hideaway (3156 Lakeshore Dr.) Friday, February 4, at 6 P.M.
