Marc Palermo's Obituary
Marc Alan Palermo, age 39, of Spring Lake passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 28, 2006 in Grand Haven. Marc was born August 16, 1966 to William H. and Marcia R. (Bruhn) Palermo in Grand Rapids.Marc was a graduate of Baker College and was a pilot and flight instructor. He was a salesman for Lincoln-Mercury in Holland and formerly for My Auto Imports in Muskegon; and he was a member of the Aircraft Owners Pilot Association (AOPA). Marc was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spring Lake. His interests included motorcycles, model airplanes and helicopters, boating, cars, and computers.Survivors include his parents Bill and Marcia Palermo of Spring Lake, grandmother Mrs. Dorothy Bruhn of Spring Lake, and sister Melissa (Daniel) Dreese of Grand Haven; and his special friend Jennifer Johnson and her children Baleigh, Sierra, Jordan and Jasmine of Grand Haven. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Max Bruhn and George and Pearl Palermo.A funeral liturgy for Marc will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spring Lake. Friends may meet the family in the abbey following the service. Interment will be in Spring Lake Cemetery. Memorials to St. Mary’s School are appreciated.
