Marcella Pouch's Obituary
Marcella A. Pouch, age 87, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the Poppen Residence. She was born on January 3, 1930 to Louis and Frances (Schroeder) Kartes in Muskegon. On February 18, 1950 she married the love of her life, Ronald Pouch, and they spent 52 happy years together until his passing in 2002. Marcella is survived by her children, Ellen (Lee) Kirkpatrick, Gail (Brian) Goldberg, Edward (Sue) Pouch, Louise (Fred) Schaallema, Joseph (Cindy) Pouch, Janna (Bill) Bordeaux; 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren; and sister, Delores Daly. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daugther, Luanne; grandaughter, Jessica Goldberg. VISITATION with the family will take place on Monday, November 20, 2017 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231-798-1100) from 6:00 – 9:00 PM with a ROSARY being prayed at 6:15 PM. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will take place on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church (406 E. Savidge St. Spring Lake, MI) at 11:00 AM with Fr. David Gross presiding. There will be a time to gather with the family an hour prior to services at church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marcella’s name can be made to either the Harbor Hospice Foundation or St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Feel free to share a memory with the family at www.sytsemafh.com
