Marcia Ann Cooper's Obituary
Marcia Ann (Maynard) Cooper, age 79, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023, in Muskegon, MI. She was born October 28, 1943, in Wyandotte, MI, to Donald and Lois (Anderson) Maynard. She attended Muskegon Heights High School and graduated in 1961. On October 4, 1988, she married David Lee Cooper, and he preceded her in death on November 11, 2010.
Marcia enjoyed birdwatching, along with feeding the birds and deer. She was always up for a game of cribbage and never missed the nightly ABC News with David Muir. She was a giving person and donated to many charities. Just days before she passed, her eyes lit up as she had the privilege to hold her newest great-grandchild.
Marcia will be deeply missed by her sons, Raymond (Sheri) Pierson and Jeffrey (Deanna) Pierson; stepsons, Keith Cooper, David Cooper Jr., and Timothy Cooper; grandchildren, Raymond Pierson, Jeffrey Pierson Jr., Barbara Swain, and Shelby Leonard; six (6) great-grandchildren; brother, Marc (Debbie) Maynard; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
