Marcia Kaye Romanosky's Obituary
Marcia Kaye Romanosky, age 77, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. She was born May 23, 1948, in Muskegon to Edwin and Wilma (Kalsbeck) Sikkenga. After graduating from high school, Marcia earned her teaching degree from Western Michigan University and began her career as a 3rd-grade teacher. She later devoted over 30 years of service to UPS (United Parcel Service) before retiring. On April 3, 1971, she married the love of her life, William “Bill” Romanosky II, in Muskegon. Marcia found great joy in gardening and caring for her beautiful flowers. She enjoyed the peaceful beauty of living on School Section Lake, loved to travel, and looked forward to winters in Florida. Her greatest joy came from time spent with her family, particularly her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Marcia’s warm smile and unforgettable laugh will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. SURVIVORS include her husband of 54 years, Bill; three children, Tracy (Andy) DeMarse, Tye (Jennifer) Romanosky, and Joe (In Young) Romanosky; three grandchildren, Ellie (Mark) DeMarse, Myah (Kohl) Grant, and Dawson (Lydia) Romanosky; great-granddaughter, Nova Jean Romanosky; three brothers, Ed (Becky), Steve (Jill), and Dan (Heather) Sikkenga; sister, Carolyn (Ross) McElroy; and many nieces and nephews.
