Margaret Ann Aamodt's Obituary
Mrs. Margaret Ann “Mag” Aamodt, age 89, passed away Sunday evening, February 7, 2016 in Muskegon. She was born in Muskegon on August 9, 1926 to Frank and Olga (Johnson) Wall. Mag was a faithful member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. She had been employed by Bectel Pharmacy for many years before her retirement. Mag enjoyed spending winters in Florida and had lived there year round for 15 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling, playing cards, Bingo, crossword puzzles, and loved angels. On January 3, 1948, Mag married John A. Aamodt in Muskegon and he preceded her in death in 1997. She is survived by her children, Nancee Wood (Tom March), William Aamodt, James (Audrey) Aamodt and Joanne Aamodt (John Wright); seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Thomas (Ginny) Wall; one sister, Frances Timmer and many dear friends. In addition to her husband, Mag was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Alice Gangwer. SERVICES will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Rev. Fr. Michael P. Olson presiding. VISITATION will be one hour prior to her service. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. MEMORIALS in her name may be made to Christian Care Nursing Facility.
