I remember the vistis Lynnsey, my parents, and I made to Grand Haven and the neighbouring areas with joy. But since we live in Sweden we couldn't visit as often as we'd like.
We've made a donation to the GHSF in her name.

Sincere condolences for the loss of both your wonderful parents in such a short time. I saw your Mom's obituary on the Tribune's web page this weekend. As a truly wild coincidence, I came across the attached photo today while cleaning out a drawer as part of a current effort to purge old stuff I have accumulated through the years.
It was a blessing to have grown-up across the street from your family.

I will always see your mother in my memory in her kitchen, light shining on her beautiful smile as she welcomed us, “You girls!” and there must have been a delicious treat for us, made by her hands. She made me feel that she was quite glad to have this small group of her daughter’s friends parading into her home. A gracious lady who will be missed.
I am so very sorry for your family's loss. I met Margaret and Walter when I was still quit young at Edgewood Lutheran Church and they were always the warmest, friendliest people you could hope to meet. I admired their love for each other and their faithfulness. I saw Margaret again more recently and she told me she had lost Walter. Both of them will forever have a place in my heart.

I am glad to have had so many long and treasured conversations with my dear aunt who never forgot my birthday and was always there for me. A truly special woman who took us on long hikes as children and made the best pies in the world. She has been an inspiration of health and strength to me and always will be. Love.💜
We will always cherish the memory of Margaret. She was our neighbor for 40 years and a very good friend. We shared many visits over meals, going to concerts, enjoying their cottage and just sharing our lives together. She was a very giving person and always interested in others. Her faithful love for her husband Walt and her loyal friendship were a wonderful example. She was a great witness of her faith in Jesus and love of her church.
