Margaret Irene "Marge" Collinge's Obituary
Mrs. Margaret Irene “Marge” Collinge, age 90, passed away at her home on Monday, December 2, 2024 in Norton Shores, Michigan. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 3, 1934 to Frank and Margaret (Paskandy) Piskitel. Marge graduated from the University of Michigan in 1957 and remained a faithful advocate. While in school, she met Jared E. Collinge, and they were married on October 18, 1958. She taught school at Mona Shores Community Education for eight years prior to her retirement in 1997. Marge was an active member of St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church, American Cancer Society Road to Recovery, Friends of the Frauenthal, Greater Muskegon Service League, and Women’s Division Chamber of Commerce. She enjoyed cooking, bowling, golfing, musicals, and Broadway plays. Marge is survived by two children, Anne (Timothy) Ryan and Jared “Chip” (Jera) Collinge Jr.; five grandchildren, Collin (Jen) Ryan, Callie Ryan, Cara Ryan, Jared Collinge III, and Ava Collinge; her brother, Leslie (Joellen) Piskitel, MD; and sister, Klara Panontin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jared; daughter, Cynthia Collinge Golab; parents; and brother-in-law, John Panontin. A PRIVATE FAMILY GRAVESIDE will take place for Marge, and a PUBLIC CELEBRATION OF HER LIFE will take place in July and will be announced later.
