Margaret Ann "Margo" Crimo's Obituary
Margaret Ann “Margo’ Crimo, age 89, of Spring Lake, formerly of Highland Park, IL passed away Friday, August 3, 2018, at her home. She was born July 23, 1929, in L’anse, MI to Matthew and Mary (Mehilich) Bobish, and she married Anthony “Tony” “Jock” Crimo on November 14, 1951. He preceded her in death on February 20, 2005.
Margo worked for the phone company and in the real estate field. She was a former and very active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Highland Park, IL. Her other interests included spending time with family, sewing, square dancing with her husband, card games, and traveling to Florida with her husband. In addition to her many other talents, she could “cook like you wouldn’t believe”.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Larry (Janet) Crimo of Spring Lake and Cheri (Paul Selga) Crimo of St. Charles, IL; two grandchildren, Skyler (Krista Hines) Helland and Uriah (Jessica Angel) Helland; three great-grandchildren: Kira Helland, Kiya Helland, and Drydren Helland; two brothers, Tom (Barbara) Bobish and Carl (Helen) Bobish; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A private graveside service will be held, reuniting Margo with her husband at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois. Share memories with the family at their online guest book at www.sytsemafh.com.
