Mrs. Margaret Elaine Hill's Obituary
Mrs. Margaret Elaine Hill, age 87, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at her home. She was born December 28, 1927 to Peter and Lillian (French) VandenBosch in Muskegon. On July 21, 1943 she married Elmer L. Hill and he preceded her in death on July 18, 1989. In 1963, she moved with her family to Los Angeles, CA. Margaret raised her family there and returned to Muskegon in 2010. She enjoyed camping, quilting, travel, reading, working puzzles and crocheting. She also loved to go to yard sales and stop at junk stores. She especially loved time with her family; playing cards and having cookies with the great-grandchildren. Margaret will be dearly missed by her daughters, Yvonne (Larry) Davis of Muskegon and Bonnie (William) Turner of Mechanicsville, Iowa; grandchildren, Melissa (Matthew) Milich, Matthew Turner, Jonathan (Whitney) Turner, Nicole (Frankie Elliot) Davis and Erin (Greg) Langlois; great-grandchildren, William, Sophie, Jaxon, Jaret, Madelyn, Hanna, Henry, Olive, Jonathan and one on the way; brothers, Stanley VandenBosch of Muskegon and Bob (Carol) VandenBosch of Idaho and her sister, Eloise McGrain of Norton Shores. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Clyde, Lawrence, Thomas, Bill and sister, Edna Price. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE followed by a luncheon will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, February 21, 2015 at VFW Post 7729, 6285 Apple Avenue. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy VNS and Hospice Services.
