Margaret Lucille Holbrook's Obituary
Mrs. Margaret Lucille Holbrook, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 in Muskegon, Michigan. She was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on September 23, 1923 to Charles and Nellie (Legacy) Douglas. On October 20, 1951, Margaret married Richard Holbrook in Seattle, Washington. Margaret and Richard lived all over the United States, as Richard was a career Marine, prior to settling in Muskegon in 1990. Margaret was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, dancing, and traveling around the United States with Richard in their RV. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Richard T. Holbrook; sister, Elaine Sorenson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Marcella Felcoskie and Marie Felcoskie; and two brothers, Charles and Louis Douglas. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Friday, June 15, 2018 at The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., 231-759-8565 with Rev. Fr. Michael P. Olson presiding. VISITATION will be one hour prior to her service. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
