Margaret Pauline Horner's Obituary
Mrs. Margaret P. Horner, age 72, joined our Heavenly Father Jesus Christ in the early hours of Friday, October 26, 2012 surrounded by her family. Although we are saddened by her departure, we are comforted knowing that there to welcome her home are her son, Clair, Jr., her son-in-law, Gary Esch, her parents Margaret and John Nulf, her brothers, John and Alex Nulf, sisters, Lorretta Ferris, Barb Arcioni, Emma Jane Hansen and Jackie Pierce. Born Margaret Pauline Nulf on March 12, 1940, she married Clair Horner on September 6, 1958. For the past 35 years calling Ravenna home, where everyone always felt welcome and you could always count on a cup of coffee and good conversation. Our mom loved to bake, play cards, go to the casino and loved to just sit and color with her grandkids. She was a truly amazing woman to the end. She was a fighter, who won the battle with lung cancer, but this fight was more than she could handle. She leaves behind her husband of 54 years, Clair; children, John Nulf, Carol Ponce, Tim (Karen) Horner and Theresa Esch; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Jim (Kathy) Nulf. Please join our family as we say our final good-byes on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100. Visitation will be Monday 6-8 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service. She will be laid to rest in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
