Margaret T. Petersen's Obituary
Margaret T. Petersen age 84, passed away Friday, September 18, 2015. She was born October 6, 1930 in Muskegon Heights, MI to John and Anna (Krajnyak) Miller and was a lifelong resident of the Muskegon area. In 1952, Margaret married Donald L. Petersen and he preceded her in death in 1984. She enjoyed working with ceramics, crossword puzzles, Snoopy and eating ice cream but her greatest joy was the time spent with her family. Margaret had worked over 20 years at Sealed Power as a clerk. She was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a member of the Altar Society. SURVIVORS include her children, Sheila (Thomas) Grimard, Mike (Rochelle) Petersen, David (Deanne) Petersen, Ellen (Mark) Allen; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Narasky and her brothers, John and George Miller. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held on 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Antony Britto presiding. VISITATION with her family will be one hour prior to the Mass at church. Memorials can be directed to the American Heart Association.
