Margaret Ann Salinas' Obituary
Mrs. Margaret Ann “Maggie” Salinas, age 54, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023 in Wyoming, Michigan following her battle with cancer. She was born in Hart, Michigan to Victor and Andrea (Perez) Flores, Sr. Maggie was employed in Product Development for Hilite International. She was devoted to her family and cherished her grandchildren. Maggie enjoyed spending time outdoors, cooking, going to the movies, and was a popcorn enthusiast. On September 18, 1989, Maggie married Rene Jose Salinas and he preceded her in death in 1996. She is survived by her children, Kristina (Joe) Almond, Juniper (Alexxander) Evergreen, and Daniel Garcia; grandchildren, Wynona Rose Evergreen and Elianora Scout Evergreen; mother, Andrea Flores; siblings, Victor L. Flores Jr., Rosa (Shawn) Sherwood, and Andy (Christi) Flores; and nieces and nephews, Brittaney Flores, Jesse (Jasmine) Flores, Gabe Flores, Laura (David) Ruback, Nick (Hailey) Flores, Isabella Sherwood, Gabby Sherwood, Alayna Sherwood, and Tori Sherwood. In addition to her husband, Maggie was preceded in death by her father and niece, Julia Flores. VISITATION will be held from 5-8 PM Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442. The MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL for Maggie will be PRIVATE. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Montague, Michigan.
