Margaret C. Sorensen's Obituary
Margaret Caroline Sorensen, age 95 passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018. She was born on December 13, 1922 to William and Louise (Britzen) Carrier in Muskegon. Margaret was a member of Fruitport Congregational UCC and worked with the fellowship group. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, traveling, camping and most of all spending time with her family. On June 5, 1942 she married Clarence A. Sorensen and they spent many happy years together until his passing in 2008. She is survived by her children, Dr. William P. (Charlyn) Sorensen, Kathleen L. Sorensen, Carolyn A. (Mike) Lemler, Mark A. (Mary) Sorensen, Thomas C. (Sandy) Sorensen; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents and two great-grandsons, Travis and Emmett. A FUNERAL SERVICE for Margaret will take place on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100 at 11:00 AM with visitation taking place one hour prior to the service.
