Margaret A. Tidball's Obituary
Margaret (Owen) Tidball, 86, went home to her Lord Jesus early Sunday morning, November 19, 2023, in Muskegon. Margaret was born on September 4, 1937, to Marion and Ellen (Ryan) Owen in Davison, Michigan. She graduated from Davison High School in 1955. On July 20, 1957, she married her high school sweetheart Gary Tidball of Genesee, Michigan at the Davison Baptist Church of Davison. They lived their first 10 years residing in Genesee where their two children Martin and Cara were born. In 1967, they moved to Whitehall and later Muskegon, Michigan. Margaret was involved in various ministries (most recently the Personal Care Pantry) at her church, Forest Park Covenant. Survivors include her husband, Gary; son Martin (Elaine) Tidball of Rockford, Michigan, daughter, Cara (Hal) Bailey of Spring Lake, Michigan; grandchildren, Mandy (Tim) DeVries, Andrew (Samantha) Tidball, Angela (Peter) Sturrus, Augusta (Andrew) Schmidt, Marshall (Evalyn) Bailey, Francie Bailey, and Schafer Bailey; great-grandchildren, Owen and Reed DeVries, Desmond and Briley Tidball, Oliver and Waverly Sturrus; sisters-in-law, Nancy and Lynette Owen. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Leland and Robert Owen. A service to remember and celebrate Margaret’s life will be held Monday, November 27, at 12:00 PM at Forest Park Covenant Church, 3815 Henry St., Norton Shores, MI, 49441. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Tidball may be made to Love INC or Forest Park Covenant Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., Muskegon, MI 49441.
