Margaret Theresa Vida's Obituary
Margaret Theresa Vida of Norton Shores, Michigan, was the tenth and youngest child of Istvan and Rozalia (Szanto) Vida and passed away November 22, 2019, at home in the care of her nieces. Margaret, a life-long member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, was born on May 16, 1919, in Norwich Township, Michigan. In 2019 family from near and far gathered at her home to celebrate the 100th anniversary of her birth. She worked as an inspector at Sealed Power Corp. for 40 years retiring in 1978. Margaret’s parents and siblings preceded her in death. Her long life was lived in the Vida tradition of hard work, self-reliance, creativity, and careful use of resources, leaving a profound legacy of example to the many nieces and nephews she leaves to follow her. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Douglas Braun presiding. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the Mass, from 10-11 AM. Entombment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
