Margaret Wolffis' Obituary
Mrs. Margaret Wolffis, age 96, died Saturday morning, February 7, 2009. She was born January 4, 1913 to Mitchell & Martha (Pastoor) Brown, in Muskegon where she had been a life resident. Margaret was a member of Allen Ave. Christian Reformed Church. On July 18, 1934 she married Louis Wolffis and he preceded her in death on June 17, 1997, after almost 63 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Schultz; granddaughter, Debbie Wolffis; grandson, Michael Wolffis; 4 sisters and 5 brothers. Margaret was a wonderful mother, grandmother and homemaker and will be dearly missed by her 2 sons, Gordon (Marlene) Wolffis of Muskegon and Dale (Lynde) Wolffis of Grand Haven and son-in-law, Paul Schultz of Grand Rapids, 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. SERVICES will be 11 AM Tuesday, February 10, 2009, at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49442 (231-726-5210)with Pastor Greg VanderMeer officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION with Margaret’s family will be 5-8 PM Monday and one-hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
