Margaret C. Cooper's Obituary
Margaret Catherine Cooper, age 82, of Spring Lake passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2005, at her home. She was born on January 29, 1923, to Fred and Jessie (Molyneux) Klintworth in Crockery Township; and she married Everett M. Cooper on April 17, 1944, in Little Rock, AR. They had been married 50 years at the time of his death on November 25, 1994.
Mrs. Cooper enjoyed antique cars and had been a member of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America; and she collected ladybugs.
Survivors include her two daughters, Patricia (Larry) Lathrop, Muskegon; Carolyn Cooper, North Muskegon; three sons, David (Mary) Cooper, Denver, CO; Alan Cooper, Spring Lake; James Cooper, Grand Haven; five grandchildren: Marc, Greg, Matthew, Eric, and Emily; six great-grandchildren: K.J., Jordan, Talia, Lauren, Zackary, and Maddison. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Catherine; a granddaughter, Lisa; a great-grandson, Issac; two sisters, Ellen Hoppe and Myrtle Farrar; and two brothers, Raymond and Lloyd Klintworth.
A funeral service for Margaret C. Cooper will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Spring Lake with Rev. Daniel Anderson officiating. Friends may meet the family 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Spring Lake Cemetery. Memorials to Hospice of Muskegon/Oceana are appreciated.
