Margaret G. Redner's Obituary
Mrs. Margaret G. Redner, age 90, passed away Tuesday morning, June 30, 2009. She was born in Manistee, MI on September 10, 1918. Mrs. Redner had been employed by Teledyne Continental Motors (now known as L3) for 38 years before her retirement. She was a proud member of the United Auto Workers Union and an auxiliary member of the VFW Post #446. She enjoyed playing bingo, cribbage, the lottery and going to the casino. Mrs. Redner was an avid Tigers fan, enjoyed bowling and listening to Polka music. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be loved and missed deeply. She is survived by 5 children, Marlene (Charles) Scholl, Beverly (Mike) Hekkema, Sandra (Steve) Earl, Diane (Mike) Arnold and James (Wendy Skorupa) Barber; 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 1 sister-in-law, Ozelle Krukowski; several nieces and nephews; special friend and caregiver, Shelly Balcom and many friends. She was preceded in death by 2 husbands, Arvin Barber and Charles Redner; 2 children, Allen Barber and Karen Dursema; 3 grandchildren and a brother, Dick Krukowski.
