Margaret M. Domont's Obituary
Mrs. Margaret M. Domont, age 94, died early Saturday morning, May 29, 2004 in Grand Rapids. She was born January 6, 1910 in Coopersville, MI to Henry and Mary (Steiner) Gross, and had lived most of her life in Muskegon. Mrs. Domont taught school in the Michigan area during the 1930’s, and was affiliated with Dalton Baptist Church. On June 8, 1940, she married Abel Domont in Port Huron, MI, and he preceded her in death on July 12, 1980. SURVIVORS include 2 sons, Larry (Sharilyn) Domont of Illinois, David Domont of Spring Lake; 2 daughters, Carol (Terry) McCrory of Indiana, Lois M. Domont of Muskegon; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 3 brothers, Warren (Myrtle) Gross, Alva (Mary) Gross, Marvin (Ilene) Gross all of Port Huron, MI. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and 6 brothers. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Wednesday at The Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene, Eastwood Campus (2270 S. Mill Iron Rd.) with Rev. Tom Parks officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. VISITATION will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Ave. (231) 726-5210 and from 12-1:00 PM Wednesday at the church.
