Margaret M. Fisher's Obituary
Margaret M. Fisher, age 90, passed away early Monday morning, October 31, 2011, in Muskegon. She was born May 23, 1921 in Muskegon to Henry and Belena (DeYoung) Fisher and had been a lifelong resident. Margaret had been employed at C.W.C. Textron for 28 years prior to retiring in 1979 as a Supervisor of Accounts Receivable. Margaret was a member of Allen Avenue Christian Reformed Church where she taught Sunday School for 25 years and had been a former member of the Mary Martha Society. Margaret belonged to the Quadrangle Business Women’s Club, volunteered at Muskegon Christian School and loved reading and traveling. She is survived by her brother, Harold “Bud” (Luann) Fisher of Muskegon; nieces and nephews, David (Pat) VanderMolen, Sandra (Alvin) Pearson, Paul (Jeanne) VanderMolen, Randy (Becki) Fisher and Lori (Mike) Bolema. She was preceded in death by her twin-sister, Agnes; and by her sister, Harriet VanderMolen. SERVICES will be 11AM Thursday at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49442 (231-726-5210) with the Revs. Robert Bierenga and Douglas VanderMolen officiating. VISITATION will be 6-8PM Wednesday.Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Margaret may be made to Muskegon Christian School, Western Michigan High School or Forgotten man Ministries.
