Margaret V. Wildfong's Obituary
Margaret V. Wildfong, age 98, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010 at her residence, Sanctuary at the Park following a brief illness. She was born in Bad Axe, MI on January 7, 1912 the youngest of seven children to John and Mary Ann (Little) Paison. The former Margaret Hawker married, Mr. George Anderson in 1956 and moved to Muskegon in 1957. George passed away in 1967. She then married Samuel Wildfong in 1974 and he preceded her in death in 1984. Until her retirement in 1984, Margaret worked as an accountant for the Montgomery Ward Department Stores. She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, a life member, order of the Eastern Star, Genesis #88, past Grand Royal Matron, Court Order of the Amaranth of Michigan and past Grand Matron of the Muskegon Amaranth #18. Margaret enjoyed her many friends and loving family and is survived by: one son, John D. (and wife, Benne) Hawker of Ann Arbor; 3 grandchildren, Michael (Terri) Hawker, James (Lorrie) Hawker & Scott (Kimberly) Hawker; 7 great-grandchildren, Sarah, Christina, Jacob, Bennett, Austin, Nathan & Logan and one great-great grandson, Gavin. She will be laid to rest in, Maple Grove Cemetery, Free Soil, MI. There will be no service or visitation.
