Margery Richards' Obituary
Mrs. Margery R. Richards, age 78, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 16, at home. She was born December 11, 1932 to Gordon and Alta (Cothern) Bennett in Champaign, IL. Margery had worked at Canon Muskegon before retiring, and had also served on the N. Muskegon City Council. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell D. Richards in 1987. SURVIVORS include 1 son, David (Amanda) Sawyer of New York; 4 step-children, Carol Richards of Muskegon, Penny (Paul) Salisz of Twin Lake, Russell J. Richards of N. Muskegon, Larry (Julie) Richards of Ludington; 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters and brother, Betty (Bill) Phillips of TX, Linda (Eddie) Hughes of MO, Roger (Lois) Bennett of TX; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Jill and Brian Wiggins. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Elisabeth A. Morrissey in 2007. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Thursday at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. (231) 726-5210.
