Margery "Marge" Bowmaster's Obituary
Mrs. Margery Bowmaster, age 88, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2008 at a local hospital. Mrs. Bowmaster was born March 9, 1919, to David and Anna (Andersen) Robarge in Muskegon Heights. On October 9, 1948, she married Paul Bowmaster in Muskegon. He preceded her in death on June 8, 2000. Marge had been employed as a secretary at Muskegon Boilerworks, retiring in 1978. She was a member of Hope Reformed Church and prior to that, a member of Eastlawn Reformed Church, where she had served as church secretary. She also belonged to a special group of high school friends (“Club”), who met monthly for over 70 years. Marge loved her family and was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a loving caretaker for her 4 year old grandson, Clinton. She is survived by her 3 children, Janice Ledinsky of Spring Lake, Ruth Ann Valliere of Plano, TX, and Paul (Sherri) Bowmaster of Grand Haven; grandchildren, Nicholas, Jennifer, Sarah, Khylie, Collen and Clinton; a sister-in-law, Gert Robarge of Muskegon; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bowmaster was also preceded in death by her son, Douglas; son-in law, Dale Ledinsky; 4 brothers, Gordon, Vernon, Max and Jack Robarge; 2 sisters, Thelma Robarge and Doris Albert. with Reverend Steven Hyma officiating. INTERMENT will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
