Margie "Eileen" Luckett's Obituary
Mrs. Margie “Eileen” Luckett, age 97, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 28, 2018 in Twin Lake. She was born on June 2, 1921 in Mount Olive, IL to Charles and Lola (Cooper) Hoyle, and was a resident of the Muskegon and Fruitport areas since 1937. Eileen was a member of Central Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed reading and crocheting, and traveling to Texas, Florida, and Arizona with her late husband. Eileen worked for Gardner Denver for 25 years, before retiring in 1979. On July 14, 1939, she married Paul Luckett and he preceded her in death on January 18, 1983. SURVIVORS include two children, Wilma Overweg and Charles (Ester) Luckett both of Muskegon; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; brother, Elmer Hoyle of Ravenna; sister-in-law, Sylvia Johnson of Muskegon and many beloved nieces and nephews. Eileen was also preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Sally Luckett; son-in-law, Randall Overweg; granddaughter, Mary Luckett; and sisters, Marie Parrish and Eleanor Sanka. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 1PM Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100 with Pastors Wally Reames and Paula Reames officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 12-1PM Wednesday. Burial will be in Fruitport Cemetery.
