Margie May Harris' Obituary
Margie May Harris, 40, passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 19, 2018. She was born May 22, 1978 to Mark A. and Janice L (Crowell) McGregor in Muskegon, and was a lifelong resident. Margie made a difference in the lives of many Muskegon County residents as a social worker for 23 years. Margie enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, dancing and spending time with her family. She was a member of Oak Crest Church of God. Margie had an enormous amount of friends whom she truly cherished. She is survived by her 3 loving children: Kaylee McLaughlin, Olivia Harris and Isaac Brown; her mother: Dolly Crowell; her father: Mark (Kathleen) McGregor; 1 sister: Monique (Rick) Rogers; 2 brothers: Mark W. (Quynn) McGregor, Harley (Christina) Obzut; grandparents: Gilberte Crowell and William McGregor. Also near to her heart was McKenna Brown, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends. The funeral service for Margie will be Friday, October 26, at 11:00 AM at Oak Crest Church of God, 1540 Leonard Ave. Burial will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Visitation at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100 will be Thursday, October 25, from 5-8 PM. You may visit the family’s online guestbook at www.sytsemafh.com. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Margie may be made to the education fund for her children. Checks may be made payable to her mother, Janice Crowell.
