Marguerite Cope's Obituary
Mrs. Marguerite Cope, age 86, passed away Friday evening, July 29, 2005 in Muskegon. She was born June 6, 1919 to George and Maggie (Bomers) Boll and lived her entire life in the area. On June 19, 1937, she married Claude O. Cope in Georgetown, IL and he preceded her in death on April 8, 1975. She had worked as a waitress for Drellis’ Restaurant. She was a member of Bethany Christian Reformed Church and had also been active with the Woman’s Auxiliary for VFW #446. SURVIVORS include 2 sons, Douglas W. (Vicki) Cope and Michael J. (Judy) Cope both of Holton; 3 daughters, Claudia J. Cope of Grand Haven, Irene K. (Steven) Bulduc of Muskegon, and Deanna L. Hoisington of Jackson; 2 generations of grandchildren; 1 sister, Geraldine Langeland of Stony Lake; and special friend, Phil Buys. She was also preceded in death by 1 son, George Cope, 1 daughter, Patricia Hershberger, her parents, 1 brother, George Boll, and 1 sister, Henrietta Olsen. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at Bethany Christian Reformed Church (1105 Terrace) with Rev. David Sieplinga presiding. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service, 10-11 AM Wednesday at the church. INTERMENT will take place at Restlawn Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
