Marguerite "Peggy" Konrad's Obituary
Marguerite “Peggy” Konrad, age 85, passed away in Muskegon, MI, on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. Peggy was born in Muskegon on November 18, 1938, to Constance (Gregory) Hughes and Leroy Hughes. She graduated from Muskegon Catholic Central in 1957 and lived her whole life in the Muskegon area. She married Stanley Konrad from Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, who preceded her in death in 1990. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Paseka.
Peggy was a wonderfully kind, loving, caring, and devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend to all. She was always most interested in making sure everyone else was okay and taken care of. She was an avid gardener and wonderful cook, as well as a dedicated employee wherever she worked.
She leaves behind two children: Kathryn “Kay” (George) Pallas of Muskegon and James “Jim” (Kelly) Konrad of Glenview, IL; five grandchildren: Erica, Kyle, Zack, Josh, and Chloe; and sister, Bette Brittian.
Per Peggy’s wishes, a private service is being held for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Harbor Hospice Foundation of Muskegon.
