Marguerite Ann Shreve's Obituary
Marguerite Ann Shreve, age 68, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017. She was born May 11, 1949 in Muskegon to Donald and Betty (Moore) Hodge. Marguerite was a retired Certified Nurse’s Aide from Visiting Nurses. On July 6, 1968, she married Thomas A. Shreve, Sr. in Muskegon. Marguerite enjoyed scrapbooking, knitting, and volunteering for organizations in need. SURVIVORS include her husband, Thomas A. Shreve, Sr. of Fruitport; 5 sons: Thomas A. (Karen) Shreve, Jr. of Nunica, David W. Shreve of Fruitport, Jonathan M. (Jessica) Shreve of Newaygo, Timothy P. Shreve of Grand Rapids, Joshua D. Shreve of Muskegon; 3 daughters: Sonja M. Shreve, Jennifer L. (Paul) Kennert both of Fruitport, Christina S. Shreve of Muskegon; 15 grandchildren with one on the way in December; 5 great-grandchildren; mother, Betty Hodge of Fruitport ; 3 sisters: Barbara (Douglas) Rosema of Grand Haven, Patricia Meyers of Muskegon, Annette (Paul) Compo of Farmington Hills, MI; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Hodge and daughter-in-law, Rebecca Shreve. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Friday, November 17, 2017 at Crestwood United Methodist Church. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. MEMORIALS to Crestwood United Methodist Church or the Harbor Hospice Foundation will be appreciated.
