Marguerite K. Meyers' Obituary
Mrs. Marguerite K. Meyers, age 96, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2006. Mrs. Meyers was born October 17, 1909 to Samuel and Dora (Wester) Keur in Muskegon. On March 7, 1934 she married Louis A. Meyers and he preceded her in death on August 7, 1990. Mrs. Meyers was employed by Coles Bakery for 30 years before retiring in 1970. She was a member of Laketon Bethel Reformed Church where she taught Sunday school for many years and was in the Women’s Guild. Mrs. Meyers is SURVIVED by 3 children, Samuel L. (Karen) Meyers, Andrew “Mick” (Jackie) Meyers and Ruthann (Ronald) Hoff, all of North Muskegon; 8 grandchildren, Cyndi (Jeff) Franz, Kathy (fiancé, Tim Burch) Sandgren, Ron (Karen) Hoff, Jr., Phil Hoff, Lisa (Larry) Joslyn, Andy Meyers, Jr., Grant (Kris) Meyers and Amy (Bruce) Sherd; 9 great-grandchildren; her brother, Henry (Hope) Keur; her sister, Anne Harris of New York; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Winifred Clark and her parents. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at Laketon Bethel Reformed Church (1568 W. Giles Rd.) with Rev. Dr. Sherwin Brantsen officiating. Interment: Laketon Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 6-8 PM at
