Marguerite L. DuRose's Obituary
Mrs. Marguerite Lillian DuRose, age 86, died Friday, August 24, 2007. She was born September 28, 1920 in Detroit, MI to James and Margaret (Henderson) Drennan. Mrs. DuRose lived in Flint for several years before moving to Muskegon. She then moved to Florida where she spent 20 years before moving back to Muskegon in 2002. Mrs. DuRose worked for Hardy-Herpolshimers as a salesperson/office clerk for 15 years before retiring. In 1939 she married Herbert F. DuRose in Flint, MI, and he preceded her in death on February 8, 1996. SURVIVORS include 2 sons, James (Joyce) DuRose, William (LuAnn) DuRose both of Muskegon; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 step great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Caroline) of Flint; sister, Lois of Flint; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jack DuRose in 1991; granddaughter, Angela DuRose; brother, Gordon Drennan; and sister, Virginia Bonk. A private family service was held. Burial took place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. MEMORIALS to the Alzheimer’s Association will be appreciated.
