Marguerite R. Somero's Obituary
Mrs. Marguerite Somero, age 95, passed away Friday afternoon at a local care home following a long illness. Marguerite was born in Copemish, MI on October 6, 1911 to Jay and Blanche (Stiver) Irwin. She married Mr. Carl J. Somero in 1931 and moved to Norton Twp. in 1940. Carl preceded her in death in 1955. Mrs. Somero was employed as a sales clerk at Hardy-Herpolshiemers, retiring in 1977 and was a life member of V.F.W. Post 3195 Auxiliary. SURVIVORS: Mrs. Somero is survived by her five children, Beverly J. Jarvis of Edwardburg, MI, Allen R. (Ruth) Somero of Copemish, Diane H. (Thomas) Robinson of North Muskegon, Janet L. (Johnny) Smith of Pelion, SC and Matt J. (Deanna) Somero of Montague; Adopted granddaughter, Terri L. Tenbrink; 3 sisters, Pauline Nichols of Saugatuck, MI, Elaine Emery of McBain, MI and Barbara Hazelbrook of Muskegon; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by: daughter, Dolores Aldrich in 1953 and a son, Carl in 2003. THE FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 21, 2007, Rev.
