Marian L. Bennett's Obituary
Marian L. Bennett, age 99, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 19, 2015 in Deerfield, FL. She was born October 10, 1916 in Muskegon to Axel and Olga (Swartz) Anderson. Marian was an avid reader who could finish a book every other day. She loved cooking, baking and playing cards. Marian was a faithful member of Evangelical Covenant Church in Whitehall for many years. She is survived by her children, Dick (Marty) Brandt of Florida, Dan (Sharon) Brandt of Tennessee, Cory (Wayne) Essebaggers of Rothbury, Terry (Linda) Brandt of North Muskegon; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; step-children, Joseph (Shirley) Bennett of PA, Doug (JoAnne) Bennett of FL, Sandra (Bruce) Gephart of MD, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Roy Brandt; husband, Joseph Bennett; son, Ronald Brandt. A FUNERAL SERVICE for Marian will take place on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Evangelical Covenant Church of Whitehall (900 Warner St, Whitehall, MI). VISITATION with the family will take place an hour prior to services at church. Burial will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to The Sytsema Chapel, 737 E.
