Marian L. Drier's Obituary
Marian L. Drier, age 89, passed away on December 13, 2025, in Baytown, TX. She was born on July 9, 1936, to Charles and Flavien (Bourdo) Coletta in Muskegon, MI. She enjoyed her family, taking care of her house, square dancing, and loving on her grandchildren. SURVIVORS include her son, Scott Drier, and stepdaughter, Bonnie (Steven) Owen; her brother, Francis (Mary Jane) Coletta; her sisters, Alice Asselmeier and Velma Moore; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Marian was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 52 years, Donald Drier in 2022; her son, George McMichael; her stepson, Terry Drier; and her brothers, Charles Coletta, Maxwell Coletta, Henry Coletta, and Edward Coletta; sisters Eva Pringle, Angie Moore, Edith Zizerato, and Donna Couldry. MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, January 5, 2026, at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. Visitation will be a half hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. MEMORIALS can be directed to Radio Bible Class in Grand Rapids.
