Marian G. Smallegan, age 92, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, in Muskegon, MI. She was born to Albert and Ruby (Barrett) Boer on August 31, 1933, in Grand Haven, MI.
Marian enjoyed participating in community outreach programs through her church and worshipping God through prayer and song. In her spare time, she could be found buried in classic novels, completing puzzles, watching her favorite game shows and soap operas, playing computer solitaire, and eating her favorite snacks like mint chip ice cream. She enjoyed small creature comforts while quietly devoting herself to a clean home and clean soul.
Marian is survived in death by her children: Karen (Wesley) Smith, Randy Smallegan, Brenda (Orville) Jackson; sister: Lois Hilborn; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents: Albert and Ruby Boer; son: Robert Smallegan; brother: John Boer; sister: Ruth Bohn.
