Marie A. Ruberto's Obituary
Passed silently on November 17, with family at her side.
Preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, John Ruberto.
Survived by her son Richard (Terry) Gray of St. Augustine FL and daughter Virginia (Justin) Brady of Muskegon MI.
Her words of encouragement and wisdom kept us in line, taught us to work hard for our successes and gifted us the strength to push forward through the most difficult days. She used to tell us “God only gives you what you can handle.” and her life was an amazing example of how to do it with kindness and class.
Marie was born in Longbranch, NJ and spent many years in Virginia Beach, VA before moving to Muskegon MI. She retired from Brunswick Bowling and finally settled in the North Muskegon area where she met her “partner in crime” Les “Bo” Harper.
Marie was a true American, a lover of all animals, a master gardener and “The Dancing Queen”. She will be incredibly missed by everyone (and that’s a whole lot of folks!) that knew her.
Please give generously in her honor to either of the following organizations; both held equal importance.
• Wounded Warrior Project (support.woundedwarriorproject.org)
• Disabled American Veterans (secure.dav.org)
