Marie Wilson's Obituary
Marie Wilson, age 97, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016. She was born July 29, 1918 in Fort Wayne, IN to Peter and Mary (Schlink) Grimm. On January 4, 1936 she married Kenneth Wilson in South Bend, IN and he preceded her in death on February 18, 1963. Mrs. Wilson was the Matriarch of the family, but most importantly was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She loved nature and had a very caring, loving, and kind heart; always helping others in need. Marie was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church since 1954 and had volunteered at the Greeters Center at the church for many years. SURVIVORS include 5 children: Juanita Wilson Morris, Kenneth (Joy) Wilson, Jr. both of Muskegon, Jacqueline (Dale) Jones of White Cloud, Gail (John Steinbeck) Wilson of Norton Shores, Bruce I. Wilson of Muskegon; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Wayne Wilson; daughter, Wanda Kay Wilson; and 3 brothers. SERVICES will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Rev. Robert J. Conradt officiating. VISITATION with the family will be from 6-8 PM Friday at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., (231) 726-5210. Burial will take place in Mona View Cemetery.
