Marie, came known to me 7/2000 at a Smith/Zgol family reunion in Michigan. Marie and her family were friends of the Zgol's in Bottrop, Germany. These families immigrated in early 1900s to Sandolval and Glenridge, IL.

I loved this beautiful woman, who gave, loved and informed. Through her fantastic memory she helped me with Genelogy research on the Zgols and put me in touch with many relatives I knew nothing of. Edwina and Barbara, I lived across the street from you on Braile. My parents were Sam and Eleanor Morris. My husband saw this and remembered me talking about all of you. I remember your Mom very well, and it is wonderful that she had such a long and wonderful life. My Mom and Dad past away 88 days apart, first Mother from cancer and then Dad from heart failure. Barbara and Bruce, I want to express my sympathy for the loss of Marie. It was a great pleasure and blessing to be one of her many caregivers. I remember when she celebrated her 100th birthday and reading to her the many cards she received. Being of the West Coast Clan, I am not sure if I ever physically met Aunt Marie, but I heard a lot about her from my Mom. I did speak with her a few years ago and was alway in awe of her joyful outlook on life and playful spirit. She fit in well with the Wronski way of life that I hope to pass on to my children.

My condolences got out to Marie's family.
I Have know Marie while she was in her 100's. (seems funny to say that) But I have always told her she was my hero. I was so influenced by her energy for life and her perspctive in life.
She shared many lovely stories with me and she always kept me smiling.She was alway in a "teaching" mode and I learn much from her.
I will celebrate her life with the Lord at her 107th on the 28th.
