A fond memory of Grandma:
A couple of years ago we had a gathering at our house and Grandma attended. Everyone was asked to bring a dish to pass and Grandma brought her asian salad (my favorite)in a beautiful pasta bowl. Later when we were cleaning the kitchen I washed and dried Grandma's pretty bowl and gave it to her. She said: "Oh, I brought the salad in that bowl so that you could keep the bowl when we were finished." I happily accepted the gift, kissed her and said thank you. My step-mom, Michele, witnesed this exchange and said to me later: "What a nice Grandma thing to do".
Every time I use the pasta bowl I think of Grandma. I grew up 2,000 miles away from my closest grandparents and never really got to know them. I have spent more time with Dale's Grandma in the past six years than I have ever spent with my own grandparents. She has become my Grandmother as well, and she always will remain as such in my heart. She will be missed and remembered with love in our home.##imported-begin##Sarah J. Lineberry##imported-end##

“Corky Forward to the club house behind the first green. Please.” Must have been the page going out over the Lords back nine when grandma arrived. I think a golf cart with four-wheel drive, and a Chevy big block engine, was still to slow for grandpa on this trip across the links.
This is how I make light of the great loss of our grandmother. She is and even in her absence will be the glue that keeps us living and forgiving together as a family. She has counseled many of us with her great wisdom and tried to mend so many of our fractured fences.
She made every effort to make sure we understood the importance of the family getting together. There is a special bond with family that even if you have not seen someone in a year. The minute you see their face not a moment has past cense the last time you laughed or cried together She knew this and wanted to instill it in us as well. I will never forget all the family reunions at her house up north in Walhalla. Even in the ciaos of too many Chief and not enough Indians, there is a love for one another. In games, eating, and talking it is shared. This lesson I’ve learned Grandma thank you.
She is in my mind the epitome of the one who walks in the light of the lord. She helped touch so many people with kindness and giving.
We will miss you Grandma. Give my love to Grandpa. We will always keep you in our hearts.

I offer my heartfelt sympathy. I did not have the opportunity to see Aunt Lue very often with us living in Texas, but the times that I did see her, she was so loving and welcoming. My prayers are with you now and in the difficult times ahead. Love to all of you.............Ruby (Terry's wife)##imported-begin##Ruby Jensen##imported-end##
