Marilyn (I called her Lily Love, her choice of best name) : You are one of my oldest and dearest friends! We've known eachother since kindergarten. Being in the Charlotte Band drew us closer together as we were only 8th graders when Mr. Powell needed 'big instruments to round out his orchestra. You played base clarinet and I playted bassoon. The next thing that bound us together was working at Hayes Green Beach Hospital in the diet kitchen, every day after school and every-other-weekend. We had so much fun working together and decided to become nurses after that. We drifted apart after highschool and then came back togeother over the births of our children. Over the years we called and wrote in spite of how far we lived from eachother.
You will leave a giant hole in my heart and I will miss your wisdom and common sense and sense of humor! Know that you will never be forgotten and that someday we will see eachother again to swap stories about our children and our lives!!
