Marilyn J. Boca's Obituary
Marilyn J. Boca, age 86, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020. She was born February 24, 1934 in Muskegon to Floyd and Edna “Millie” (McClain) Gillhespy. Marilyn worked as the accounting supervisor for GMAC for 35 years prior to her retirement in 1987. While still working for GMAC, the family owned and operated Boca Blueberries for many years. She had been a member of First Baptist Church. Family and friends remember Marilyn as being the sweetest and most happy person, and always willing to help others. She is survived by 3 children: Richelle (Ron) Raiz of Norton Shores, Renee Nyblade and Russell Nyblade both of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren: Amy Stuthard, Kara Zielinski, Jordan (Justin) Birr, Zachery Nyblade, Madison Nyblade, McKenzie Nyblade, and Kristina Raiz; 5 great-grandchildren: Jozlin Semelbauer, Emme Stuthard, Theory Zielinski, Easton Birr, and Eleanor Birr; 3 sisters: Iris Pierce, Peggy Eaton both of Muskegon, and Sherry (Larry) Bradley of Reynoldsburg, OH. She was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Gillhespy; brother, Bobby Gillhespy; and a sister, Betty Briggs. Private family services will be held for Marilyn. She will be laid to rest in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. MEMORIALS to the Alzheimer’s Association will be appreciated.
