Marilyn Ann Bohn's Obituary
Marilyn Ann Bohn passed away on July 27, 2013 she was 80 years old. Marilyn was born to Ralph and Sadie Pierson in Muskegon MI. In 1950 Marilyn married Gordon Bohn in Angola Indiana. She found work as a molding machinist for Michigan Plastics in Grand Haven, and worked there for 31 years before retiring in 1931. Marilyn enjoyed her life. She spent her free time on bus trips to the casinos, yard sales, fish frys at the Eagles and the McGraft Park parties. Marilyn was a one of a kind, simple, outgoing woman. She was fiercely independent yet a kind loving person. Of all things in her life spending time with family and grandchildren was most important. Marilyn will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS include her husband Gordon of 62 years, Son Gary (Karen) Bohn; grandchildren Lindsay (Jared Poort) Dahl, Jesse Dahl, and Troy (Katie Mogdis) Dahl; great grandchildren Kayne, Dylyn, Trent, Bailey, Abby June, and Hazel; Brother Ralph ( Geraldine) Pierson; and special niece Sonnie Clapper. She was PRECEEDED in death by her parents, daughter Cheryl Dahl, sister Evelyn Little; and brother Russell Pierson. SERVICES will be held at 11am on Tuesday July 30, 2013 at The Walburn Chapel 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565 with Rev. John Brown officiating VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Lung Association.
