Marilyn Joyce Bos' Obituary
Mrs. Marilyn Joyce Bos, age 83, a resident of Grand Haven, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, September 29, 2016. She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on November 8, 1932 to Alida (Cook) and John Jansen. Marilyn J. Jansen and Jack M. Bos, of Muskegon, married on January 4, 1955.
Marilyn is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Jack Bos, Sr.; four children: Linda (Petra Verwijs) Bos, Pam (Bryan) Archer, Jack (Debbie) Bos, Jr., and Carole (Gary) Bos-Dusterwinkle; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Marilyn is also survived by her only sister, Leona Bishop; sister-in-law, Charlotte (Earl) Laman, brother-in-law, Jim (Gen) Bos, cousins, and many nieces and nephews. Marilyn was preceded in death by many to whom she was close, including parents and in-laws.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 4th at 11:00 am at The Fruitport Congregational Church UCC (9 S. 8th Ave. Fruitport, MI 49415).
