Marilyn June Lacey's Obituary
Mrs. Marilyn June Lacey, age 90, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024 in Muskegon, Michigan. She was born in Muskegon on June 11, 1933 to Henry and Mary (Grimm) Zelinski. Marilyn married Legare Lewis Lacey on July 18, 1951 and they enjoyed 52 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2004. Marilyn worked at Anaconda and Cannon Muskegon, retiring to Zephyr Hills, Florida in 1993. She moved back to Muskegon in 2004, after Legare passed away. Marilyn enjoyed bowling at Northway Lanes, playing Bingo, taking trips to the casino, and playing cards and games with her family. She is survived by her children, Pamela Lacey, Robin (Stephen) VanderKooi, Kathy (Paul Slocum) Fialek, and Jeffrey Lacey; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her brother, Tom (April) Zelinski. She was preceded in death by her husband, Legare; son, Michael Lacey; and grandson, Jeffery Close. According to her wishes, no services will be held. Cremation has taken place and burial will take place next to her husband at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
