Marilyn J. Miller's Obituary
Marilyn Joy Miller, age 86, passed away in Muskegon, MI, on Monday, March 3, 2025. Marilyn was born in Muskegon on August 2, 1938, to George and Eleanor (Hall) DeFrench. She graduated from Muskegon Heights High School and went on to graduate from Baker College. She worked as a receptionist at Dilesco Corp. for 30 years before retiring in 2018. Marilyn loved to take care of her yard and spend time gardening flowers, and her house was always decorated for the holidays. She enjoyed scrapbooking, puzzles, and shopping, and she loved spending time with her family, friends, and dogs.
Marilyn will be lovingly remembered by her grandson, John Bosch; three great-grandchildren: Erica (Jacob McElfish) Peterman, Brooklynn Bosch, and Bentley Bosch; great-great-granddaughter, Riya Drake; and sister, Sherry Gleason. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Eleanor Hall; daughter, Kay (Greg) Bosch; brother, George DeFrench; and two beloved dogs, Lexi and Logan.
Per Marilyn’s wishes, no public services are being held at this time. Arrangements entrusted to the Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI, 49444.
