Marilyn Louise Robinson's Obituary
Marilyn Louise Robinson, of Grand Haven passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in British Columbia, to Henry William and Louise (Usher) Booth and moved to Ketchikan, AK. when she was two years old.
Marilyn was a member of St. Patrick – St. Anthony Catholic Church, and worked for 31 years at Eagle Ottawa Leather Company as an inspector. She loved basket weaving, reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Marilyn is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jane (Gary) Zych of Grand Haven; three sons: Christopher (Sissy Long) Robinson of Grand Haven, Charles Robinson of Ninilchik, AK, and Paul Robinson of Grand Haven; four grandchildren: Paul (Kailey) Miller, Julia Robinson, Sydney Robinson, and Chase Robinson; and special nephew Jackie (Linda) Robinson and their daughter, Kara.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at St. Patrick – St. Anthony Catholic Church in Grand Haven with Rev. Fr. William Langlois as celebrant. Friends may meet the family 5-7 p.m. Monday, February 29, at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven. Interment will be in Lake Forest Cemetery. Memorial contributions to St. Patrick – St. Anthony Catholic Church or to Walk The Beat (walkthebeat.org) are appreciated.
