Marilyn brought enormous joy and caring to the world. She was our friend and neighbor and we loved her. She welcomed us when we moved to Spring Lake and encouraged us to 'keep active' with her words and her example. We will always remember her smile.

Dear Susan, Daniel and Family,
On behalf of the Aquinas community where your mother received her Master's degree, we extend our sympathy as you mourn the loss of a generous, service-minded, adventurous mother. God grace you with Gratitude and Peace as you remember her rich life among us and her Eternal Life. May the heavenly handbell choir be delighted as she shares her skills!
We will remember your mother by name during our monthly Memorial Mass for deceased alums on January 19 at 4:30pm in Our Lady Seat of Wisdom Chapel on campus. Do join us if you are able.

Marilyn and Bob in Nina and I met Kikuyu, Kenya and became immediate friends. We worked with Marilyn on that project and then later in Zambia.
She was always helpful, offered to do anything necessary to do a project and we cherish every moment of those days.
We also spent lots of times together with them and the group from Kenya at weddings, funerals and social events. We've lost a special friend and will miss her greatly. Nina and Vance Sonnenberg
